Available in 4, 5 and 6 rod versions. Another Aqua product that has stood the
test of time, 10 years to be precise! This is the most versatile sling system
that we know of, it can be used either with or without the sleeves, and for
real “belt and braces”, then add the top sleeve. The front of the sling
houses banksticks with a sleeve inside for a landing net. The strap is
adjustable and padded and runs down the centre to help balance
the load. There is also a hand strap for lifting he sling.
The sleeves themselves do need a special mention. Unlike other
sleeves that have a zip running down one side that can trap
the reel line, and make for difficulties in actually getting the
rod in place. Aqua sleeves simply slide over the rod and
reel. The sleeves are padded and have a drawcord at
the base, the sleeves then clip together, stopping any
movement when in transit. Also this system will not
only accommodate 11-13ft rods but also rods built
with 50mm butts.
A recent addition to the RS range is a sling
that’s been purpose made to take a Pioneer or
Ultralite. We have made this sling a further
foot longer and slightly wider to house the
Pioneer, in the case of the Ultralite with
the front left on and also the standard skin
attached on both models. The landing net
pole sleeve has been moved to the side
to run in line with the last rod in
place on the front. The sling
will house a maximum
of 6 rods. |
