The much copied weigh sling has now been made out of Aquatexx™. Again this has knocked weight off the sling, it now weighs in at around just 1lb 3oz. Also the change in fabric enables the sling to roll up extremely tight.

The Aqua Mega Carp Sling is the ultimate in fish safety. Developed over many years, you can be sure it’s the very best available. The secret to its success is its support system. Two bars run the full length across the top of the sling. This provides total support for the fish. The ends of the sling are zipped to allow it to be opened out flat across the unhooking mat until needed. Then simply zip up the ends and weigh the fish on the cords attached. There are also a pair of handles for transporting the fish from the mat to the water, eliminating any chance of dropping the fish. This sling can also be used as a short term retainer (no more than 5 minutes in summer and 10 minutes in winter). This gives the fish time to recover before being photographed. Simply fill the sling with water and thread the cords over a bankstick, ensuring the sling is fully submerged and that the zips are fully closed to prevent the fish escaping. In our opinion the Aqua Mega Carp Sling is the safest sling on the market.
